Fair Housing Foundation - Free Services Available!

Do you have a disagreement with a tenant?  Do you need advice on housing rights? The Fair Housing Foundation may be able to help you.

Residential and Mobile Home Owners

 Low-interest home improvement loans are offered to residents and property owners who meet the program’s income criteria. The goal of the program is to assist very-low, low- and moderate income residents who cannot afford to keep up their homes on their own.

Deferred loans      

  • Deferred loans require no monthly payments
  • Are due upon sale or transfer of the home
  • Applicants must have sufficient equity in their homes to qualify for loans.

Housing Rehabilitation Grants - This program provides grants to very-low-income households.

Mobile Home Rehabilitation Program - This program provides deferred loans to mobile home owners for certain repairs and improvements.

Section 3

Section 3 is a provision of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act of 1968 that helps foster local economic development, neighborhood economic improvement, and individual self-sufficiency.  The Section 3 program requires that recipients of certain HUD financial assistance, to the greatest extent feasible, provide job training, employment, and contracting opportunities for low- or very-low income residents in connection with projects and activities in their neighborhoods - HUD
